Parkmead
This charming neighborhood surrounds Parkmead Elementary School and the Dorris Eaton School (a private school where the Parkmead Intermediate School used to be located). Residents enjoy the neighborhood’s inviting front porches and picturesque Magnolia and Sycamore trees while strolling to nearby downtown Walnut Creek. Many of the homes were built in the 1950’s and have since been expanded and remodeled, but the neighborhood still retains the character of its mid-century roots.
The strong sense of community and proximity to downtown amenities, excellent schools, the Dewing Park Swim Club make it a prized and sought after neighborhood.
